Gary B. Strickland
A former Maricopa County Public Fiduciary and State of
Arizona administrative law judge, Gary Strickland offers extensive experience in
probate and estate
controversies, adult exploitation matters,
civil litigation. In addition, he has served
Maricopa County as a deputy County Attorney (Civil Division) and Senior General
He has served as a Maricopa County Superior Court pro tem in
civil, probate and family law proceedings. A skilled negotiator, Mr.
Strickland is also available to act privately as an arbitrator or mediator.
In January 2018, Gary was appointed to a three-year term on
Disciplinary and Ethics Commission of the Certified
Financial Planner Board of Standards.
In his administrative practice, Gary appears on behalf of doctors,
nurses and other professionals in administrative licensing matters before
various state regulatory boards, including the:

He received his J.D. (1984) from Washington University
School of Law in St. Louis. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona (Probate,
Litigation, and Administrative Law sections), American Bar Association
(Healthcare Law section), and Maricopa County Bar Association (Probate and
Gary has taught at the high school (Latin and Greek),
college (history), and graduate (contract law and administrative law) levels. He
has presented at numerous CLE seminars (healthcare law, evidence law,
administrative law, and probate law) and is a frequently invited educational

lifetime devotee of history and classical literature, and stays fit with outdoor
